1. What you are buying

A Jarvis AI Assistant subscription is a recurring licence to use the app. The exact price and billing period are shown on the pricing page and again on the checkout before you pay. Those two are the authoritative figures — this page deliberately does not repeat a number that could go stale.

Some plans are one-time purchases rather than subscriptions. A one-time purchase does not renew and nothing on this page about renewals applies to it.

2. Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the same price, until you cancel. The checkout states the amount and the cadence before you confirm — for example “billed every 3 months, renews automatically until cancelled”.

Paddle emails you a receipt for every charge, and sends renewal reminders in advance where the law requires them.

If we ever change the price of an existing subscription, we will tell you before it takes effect and you will have the chance to cancel first. We will not quietly raise it.

3. Cancelling

Cancel from Settings → Billing → Manage subscription inside Jarvis AI Assistant, or from the link on any Paddle receipt. It takes one click and there is no retention flow, no phone call, and no “are you sure?” gauntlet.

Cancelling stops future charges. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for — cancelling on day 2 of a 90-day period does not cut you off on day 2.

4. If a payment fails

An expired card or a declined charge does not end your subscription immediately. It moves to a past-due state and Paddle retries over the following days while prompting you to update your details.

If it still cannot be collected, the subscription is suspended and premium features stop. Nothing on your machine is deleted. Jarvis AI Assistant is local-first: your conversations, memory, files and configuration stay exactly where they are, and resolving the payment restores access to them.

5. Refunds

Covered separately on the refund policy page. Short version: 14 days, no questions.

6. Who charges you

Direct purchases are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Paddle takes the payment, handles sales tax and VAT where it applies, issues receipts and processes refunds. Your statement will show Paddle.

Purchases made through the Microsoft Store are handled by Microsoft under their terms, and are managed from your Microsoft account rather than here.

7. Devices

A personal licence covers up to three devices at once — enough for a desktop, a laptop, and the machine you replace without remembering to sign out of the old one.

You can see and remove your activated devices from inside the app. Removing one frees the slot immediately.

8. Questions

Email [email protected]. Billing questions get answered by a person, not a form.
